Doug began walking through open houses when he was just thirteen years old. His grandmother, a daughter of an architect, shared her love and enthusiasm of homes with him well into his adulthood. He has grown to deeply appreciate the sense of home and how meaningful the right home can be to a family.
Not only does Doug have a special eye for homes, but he is also keen on recommending remodeling or decorating schemes in order to personalize the home to a buyer’s taste. As he has owned a few homes of his own that he has renovated to suit his style, he has ample experience customizing a home to suit particular taste.
Doug has superior interpersonal skills which have allowed him to seamlessly facilitate interactions between buyer and seller. With a BA in Sociology from UCLA and a Master’s in Psychology, Doug has a baseline education helpful to working with people and negotiating business transactions in good faith and with respect to his client’s needs.
Doug’s personal interests includes spending quality time with his partner & 10 year old daughter, photography, hiking, traveling, beach visits, walking his golden retriever (Bentley), playing with his 4 cats, and reading non-fiction.
