Nathan grew up in Oregon and lived in the Portland Metro for the last 22+ years, and has a love for architecture, homes, and people. After a twenty-year career in structural & forensic engineering, he’s joined us in Real Estate with the objective of helping people using his background, and technical knowledge as a resource through a transaction. In his twenties he identified & bought property & homes in urban infill areas, rehabbed them & split lots off to sell to builders. He has a vast knowledge about homes, how they’re lived in, how they function & how they’re built. Along with being friendly, understanding, a good listener, hardworking, he’s very detailed oriented, and has a lot of integrity.
He has a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering that covered Architecture, Acoustics & Lighting, Mechanical & Electrical Systems, Soils & Foundations, and Structural Engineering which he made his primary focus. His experience in engineering ranged from residential & multifamily homes, small commercial buildings, forensic engineering, seismic retrofits, and construction all over the PNW.
Outside his passion in real estate, you can find him on a tennis court, on a ski slope, out in the woods camping, seeing family and friends around town, walking around the metro checking out different neighborhoods with the family corgi or at a dog park with him or traveling the world to see how other people experience life & see life through their eyes, and checking out the architecture.
