“The Santaland Diaries” – Through January 3rd
Based on David Sedaris’ true story working as a Christmas elf, cult classic “The Santaland Diaries” at Portland Center Stage puts a humorous and truly odd spin on the behind the scenes work that goes into each holiday season.
“The Nutcracker” — December 12th to 26th
Oregon Ballet Theater stages George Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker,” a nostalgic family favorite, at the Keller Auditorium.
Holiday Express Train – Through December 20th
The Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation runs the festive Holiday Express train ride from Oaks Amusement Park in Sellwood, along the Willamette River and back. Don’t miss out on a train ride with Santa and his elves!
