Book Drive Success

Our brokers pride themselves on their commitment to our community. This morning, broker Jamohl DeWald collected over 1000 books benefiting a local book bank!

From Jamohl:

“Hello all!  I would say the first year doing the book drive was a huge success!  Jeanie explained to me how “The Children’s Book Bank” works.  First off, every book that is donated is first inspected, cleaned up and all marks removed.  Then, for every 14 books donated they are packaged up and given to families in need of them, in some cases “the only or first books” in the home.  This time of year is a good time to donate to them as after the Holiday Season things tend to dip in book donations.  They were very appreciative.  

I want to thank Lee Davies for donating the usage of the truck to pick up the books at each school today.
