Clay Lambourne originally grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. He completed his undergraduate degree at Utah State University where he also competed as a division one, track and field/cross country athlete. He found a great amount of success in the 800-meter race achieving multiple All-American accolades. After graduating in 2018, he moved to Portland with his wife Maddie. Throughout his first year living in Portland, Clay chased his goal of becoming a professional track and field athlete. Ultimately, he decided to pursue new interests and career endeavors. This change of pace led him to the world of real estate.
Clay’s passion for real estate stems from early childhood experiences and work in the field. As a child, Clay was exposed to real estate firsthand through his agent mother. He also gained valuable experience working side-by-side, in his father’s business. Later in his career path, Clay spent time installing and navigating the world of home security. This position allowed him to be on the groundwork for numerous homes across the Salt Lake Valley. Since relocating to Portland, he has gained a wide range of experience working in the field of customer service and athletics. Clay’s choice to become a real estate broker was a joyful combination of personal experiences and different career paths.
Although Clay has jumped in full steam ahead into the world of real estate, he continues to bring his competitive, natural, athletic edge to every life pursuit. Clay is a self-driven, active listener who works around the clock to make sure his clients’ have the best possible advocate. As a young broker, Clay continues to focus on ongoing education, follow closely to market trends, and do a plethora of research on behalf of his clients. Clay’s passion for real estate is supported by a balance of recreational enjoyment. In his free time, you can find Clay exploring the outdoors with his wife and pug Jerry. Clay finds immense joy coaching young cross-country runners, taking Jerry to new parks, and working in his vegetable garden. Chances are if you are driving along the streets of Northeast Portland you will spot Clay still running.
