I grew up at the feet of my dad, a Realtor. As a young girl, I would sit at his side to answer the office phone, and as I matured, I even handled his open houses. I went on to get a degree in Psychology while managing and transforming our family properties for sale. Beginning my entrepreneurial career, I opened a successful bodywork practice, became a life coach and trained with hospice to volunteer with grieving families. Never did I think this path would lead me back to houses. But it did in 2013.
Since the early days of real estate with my father, many things have changed: technology, prices and contracts. But the most important thing has stayed the same: taking excellent care of the client. More than anything else, high level customer service lies at the heart of successful real estate transactions. From the first conversation to the final signatures, I see my job as one of fiduciary, collaborator, guide and advocate.
My favorite aspect of real estate is the relationship I build with clients. Being entrusted with such a huge transition in another’s life is an honor I never take for granted. Second, I enjoy the tracking and pulling together of the many puzzle pieces in each transaction. Third, I like to win and that for me means exceeding all expectations for my clients. For sellers, this starts with the magic of prepping and staging, as their personal space becomes a place that any buyer will find alluring. My sellers are often astounded seeing the changes possible with minimal time and expense. For buyers, we focus on your dream.
When not working, I love to spend time with my two dogs, two kids, and my husband: they’re my world. We all enjoy going to the beach, connecting with friends, kicking back in the garden or working on our native habitat space. My secret passion is estate sales; I have a real fondness for special items that have lasted generations.
